Repurposing the St. Johannes church in Merkstein by Aachen, designed by the architect Emil Steffann.

Research on the typology of Emil Steffann’s churches by means of local surveys and his repertoires. The results are then used to find out ways to repurposing it in its interesting sociological and architectural contexts.

The results are then presented in public exhibitions.
